Review: Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence

This is my second bottle of the Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence ($31+) so that's a solid testament to its performance. I've been using it as part of my skincare routine for almost a year now and I've noticed a significant improvement in the look and texture of my skin. There are plenty of good reasons as to why this essence one Soko Glam's 2014 Best of Beauty Award.

The Product
As one of Missha's most famous products, the Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence contains 80% Fermented Yeast Concentrate to repair and nourish the skin at a cellular level. Niacinamide improves skin elasticity, enhances skin barrier function, and revives skin tone and texture for brighter and clearer skin. Your skin is repaired, protected, hydrated and ready for the next steps in your skincare routine. People have claimed they've seen results in as little as two weeks

The Results
Right off the bat I'd like to say, the high percentage of Fermented Yeast Concentrate definitely works its magic but it makes the essence smell like a bag of potato chips. Yup, that's right it smells like you're patting eau de Pringles on your face. However, if you can get past the odd scent then you're in for a real treat. Within a month I noticed brighter skin and within a few months it had improved my skin's elasticity. I had stopped using it for a a few weeks when I was in between bottles and my skin instantly looked duller so Soko Glam is not joking when they say it's "like crack for the skin."
