It's that time of the year again and although I've been out of school for about 2 years now, I do have some words of wisdom I'd like to pass along to those of you who are readying yourselves for the new semester.
1. Get a Planner

Back when I was in school I would have been lost without my planner. A lot of people use their smartphones these days but there's something about writing things down that a virtual calendar cannot replace. I prefer planners that show a monthly and weekly view but it really comes down to preference. Here's a few of my current favorites:

Alright, so you probably won't remember what you wore on your first day of classes five years from now. I know, because I sure as hell don't. But, there's a sort of confidence and security in knowing that you're starting the school year off looking your best. Plus, it prevents you from being late on your first day of class!
