Favorite Skincare of 2015

Up next in my favorites of 2015 series is skincare. Last year was the year in which Korean skincare took the States by storm, and I was pretty quick to hop aboard that bandwagon. I spent most of 2015 trying to build a solid 10 step Korean skincare routine so you'll notice a good mix of Korean products and more familiar ones.

MISSHA TIME REVOLUTION THE FIRST TREATMENT ESSENCE INTENSIVE ($26.29+): This is the first essence I've ever tried but it has certainly set the bar high for every other essence I test after it. Every night after cleansing and toning, I pat this on my face and neck. My skin feels softer and looks brighter than it's been in a while.

LA ROCHE POSAY ANTHELIOS ULTRA LIGHT FACE SUNSCREEN FLUID SPF60 ($30): Since reading Charlotte Cho's The Little Book of Skincare I've sworn to wear sunscreen daily. This one is lightweight and absorbs quickly into my skin. The best part? It's not greasy feeling and doesn't smell like sunscreen.

UP & UP OIL-FREE EYE MAKEUP REMOVER ($4.59): I know everybody's been hopping on the micellar water trend but I'm still a big believer in these two part makeup removers because of how effective they are at taking off falsies. I wear falsies a lot for photo and video shoots and I'm always exhausted afterward so I don't want to stand there holding a cotton pad over my eye for 5 minutes with micellar water to take off my false lashes.

ETUDE HOUSE MOISTFULL SUPER COLLAGEN EYE CONCENTRATE ($15.95+): This is currently my HG eye cream because its got the perfect consistency. It's moisturizing enough for my dry eyes without being too heavy that it causes milia to form.

BANILA CO. CLEAN IT ZERO ($16.40): My holy grail oil-based cleanser, this Banila Co. Clean It Zero ensures that I take off all my makeup at the end of the day. It comes in a solid balm form that quickly turns to liquid as you apply it to your face. I like it a lot better than typical liquid oil-based cleansers because it isn't as messy and it's easier to work with. If you're interested to know more, check out my full review of the Banila Co. Clean It Zero here.

FRESH SUGAR LIP POLISH ($24): I love this lip polish because it smells great and is incredibly effective. I use it once a week on my lips and it leaves them feeling soft without being too harsh on my skin.

FOREO LUNA SONIC CLEANSING DEVICE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN ($169): This sonic cleansing device is such a game changer. I used to use the Clarisonic but I got annoyed at having to replace the brush heads every few months and I felt like it was being too harsh on my skin. This device has rubber nublets that won't tear up your skin and doesn't ever need to be replaced!

GARNIER SKIN RENEW ANTI-PUFF EYE ROLLER ($9.99): Another game changer for me is this anti-puff eye roller by Garnier. I have very puffy under eyes, especially if I stay up too late at night (which is quite often). In the morning I quickly roll this over my eyes and the cooling effect plus caffeine helps to depuff my eyes ever so slightly. It's also really refreshing to use and wakes me up a little bit more.
